As a blogger and writer, I am always on the lookout for new tools to help me optimize my work. In this context, I tested the AI productivity tool Mem and would like to share my experiences with you.
What is Mem?
Mem is a kind of Evernote with AI support. It is a notebook that automatically generates keywords, hashtags, and other things to make it easier to summarize different topics. Mem’s AI functions allow you to summarize texts, create articles, and improve grammar.
Advantages and disadvantages
A major advantage of Mem is the automatic generation of keywords and hashtags. This saves time and makes it easier to organize different notes. However, Mem also has a disadvantage: The web clipper doesn’t work as well as with other tools. Imported web pages often only contain 2 or 3 lines. To get around this problem, I created a Zapier task that automates importing.
Costs
Mem is available for free. However, there is also an AI version that costs 9 euros per month. This version offers advanced features such as automatic tagging of notes and creating summaries.
Conclusion
Overall, I am satisfied with Mem. The automatic generation of keywords and hashtags is very helpful and saves time. However, the AI functions are not yet perfect and can still be improved. I will continue to use Mem and am curious about how the software will develop in the future.
